The best part about leaving the salon after getting your hair done is knowing your hair is looking on point for the next few days and you won’t have to put any effort into styling it.
Here’s how to become a blowdry pro, so you can get gorgeous hair at home!
Use the right tools
Get that fresh salon blow dry look at home with a good quality round brush. Our favourite brushes are from Seamless 1. Make sure you use a hairdryer with a nozzle on the end. Then, all you need is a sectioning clip, and you’re done!
Always use protection
To keep your hair healthy, make sure you use heat protection nutrifier blowdry cream is our favourite. Then, blast dry your hair to approximately 80% dry.
Dry your hair in sections
Section your hair in half and start running your round brush through from roots to ends with the blowdry nozzle skimming over the top. For volume pull your hair up at the roots with the round brush while drying. Continue this throughout all sections, focusing on smoothing out the ends.
Make your hairstyle last
Give yourself a fierce blow-dry Monday, rock it out on Tuesday, Wednesday touch it up with straighteners if you need to or chuck it up for a high ponytail!
Hairdryers are not as hot as straighteners or curling wands so if you can touch the hot tools half as much with a bit more effort when blowdrying you’ll be on your way to happier healthier hair in no time and looking fab in the process.
