Curtain Bang

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You would have seen by now, that the curtain bang has well and truly made a come back. The carefree, face framing, long fringe adds texture and depth and is one of the hottest trends of the season.

We have already seen this look framing the faces of girls on Instagram and many celebs including Alexa Chung. The style is also well known as the Brigitte Bardot fringe, who rocked the look best back in the 60’s.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

This versatile fringe sits somewhere between a full fringe and a sweeping side fringe. Worn best when it’s cut to sit just below the eyebrows andcan be worn with a middle part or swept off to one side.

It’s a great idea for any one looking for a dramatic
change. However be prepared for hair on your face and to have a few bobby pins handy to keep those hairs out of the way when working out.

As for maintenance and styling I think it’s important to only get the fringe if you are willing put the effort in to style it and to make the trip to the salon to get regular trims and please from hairdressers all over the world, do not trim it yourself.

To style all you will need is a round brush and a hair dryer, I like to use a light mousse after washing to help with volume and texture. Even if you are wanting to wear the fringe in a middle part or off to one side, start by pulling the fringe forward with your round brush and dry the whole fringe forwards, then separate and part wherever you want to wear it.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”2979″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
